The hotel is situated in a beautiful area, perfect for exploring the Werra River Valley and enjoying the lengthy bike trails. The village of Altenburschla is quiet and peaceful, with traditional German houses that create a lovely atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with some having large bathrooms. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, using local produce, and serves delicious dishes like the lamb goulash. The cold buffet breakfast is complemented by freshly cooked eggs upon request.
The service and attitude of one of the staff members left much to be desired.

The setting of the hotel was very idyllic, with a lovely peaceful village and beautiful traditional German houses. The restaurant had an interesting and diverse menu, with a focus on local produce. The lamb goulash was superb. The buffet breakfast was good and there was the option to have fresh cooked eggs if required.
This affected our plans. , the service and attitude of the woman working at the hotel was not nice.

My Easter weekend stay at this hotel was delightful. First and foremost, the idyllic setting was breathtaking. The peaceful village surrounded by beautiful traditional style houses was a perfect escape from the city life. the food and wine they offered were top-notch. The locally sourced produce in their diverse menu made the lamb goulash I had one of the best dishes I have ever had. , the cold buffet breakfast served in the morning was fresh and delicious.
There was only one negative aspect of my stay. Although I tried to rent some bicycles through a third party, I wasn't able to book them and had to change my plans for outdoor activities.
